DESCRIPTION:It’s harvest season in Burgundy\, and one of our local producers recently sent us a glimpse of what lunchtime looks like in the middle of it all: a quick meal outside with a few mates\, a bottle of wine\, and whatever good food is to hand before getting back to work. \nIt’s a very ordinary scene during harvest\, but one that doesn’t often find its way onto a restaurant table. \nWe wanted to change that. \nSo we’re starting The Harvest Lunch\, a series of small releases inspired by the food\, wine and everyday moments we find in the places our bottles come from. \nFor our first one\, we’re bringing a little Côte de Beaune to the table with some simple lunchtime bites: pâté and good bread\, and a salad of ham and apple with a mustard dressing made with raspberry vinegar. \nThe mustard takes us towards Dijon\, while cassis and berries are part of the flavours we associate with the region. The raspberry vinegar gives the dressing its own little twist. \nYou don’t need to bring your serpe — just come hungry. \nThe Harvest Lunch — Côte de Beaune will be available Monday to Friday at lunchtime\, alongside our usual menu. \nNo booking needed. Come and join us for a few bites and a taste of the harvest.
